Lois Pass
Lois Nancy Ellen "Lynn" (Lineberger) Pass, of North Andover, formerly of Callao, Va. and Timonium, Md., died on Saturday, March 24. Lynn Pass was a devoted wife and mother, decoded Japanese messages during World War II, was active in both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, was active at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Baltimore and Henderson United Methodist Church in Callao, was the first female Commander of Dundalk Power Squadron, and was the driver and map reader of the Callao Cuties. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph P. Pass Jr.; mother of Ralph P. Pass III of Andover, W. Charles Pass of Manchester, Md., and Toni A. Tidwell of Griffin, Ga.; sister of Hoyte Brewer of Fairview Heights, Ill., William (Buck) Brewer of Richmond, Va., Ann Birdwell of Powell, Tenn., and Michael Brewer of Escondido, Calif.; and survived by seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on March 30 at the Jones-Ash Funeral Home in Rainswood, Va. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on March 31 at Henderson Methodist Church in Callao, Va. with burial at the Church Cemetery.
