Richard B. Smalley

Richard B. Smalley, 65, a resident of Andover, died Friday, March 23, 2007, at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital.

Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late Bart and Laura (Campbell) Smalley.

Richard served with the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1962.

He was also an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda of East Boston, and Cynthia of Haverhill; and a son, Chad of Norton; a sister, Patricia Brouillard of Andover; nephews, C. William Kettinger Jr. of Andover, and Richard A. Brouillard of Pelham, N.H.

At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours, and a private service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dewhirst and Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence St., Andover.
