Officially spring

Andover High student-athletes reported for the first day of spring tryouts/practices on Monday afternoon of this week.

One day after the AHS boys hockey team played in the State Division 2 Tournament championship game, candidates were signing up for the spring season.

Andover will once again compete in baseball, softball, boys and girls track, boys and girls lacrosse, boys and girls tennis, and boys volleyball. Regular season games/ matches/meets are scheduled to begin the first two weeks of April if the weather and field conditions permit.

Returning head coaches include Ken Maglio (baseball), Stephanie Ragucci (softball), Peter Comeau (track), Wayne Puglisi (boys lacrosse), Mike Wartman (boys tennis), John McVeigh (girls lacrosse) and George Sullivan (boys volleyball).

Jen Griffin is the new girls tennis coach.
