James Alan Hesketh


James Alan Hesketh, 76, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, while on the South Island of New Zealand doing what he liked best - hiking and camping.

Mr. Hesketh was born in Highlane Cheshire, England.

He worked for many years as an engineer for Bolta/General Tire & Rubber in Lawrence, and then in Ireland.

Living in Andover for many years, he was an active AVIS member.

He retired in England and recently moved to Lower Hutt, New Zealand.

Family members include his daughter, Madelyn Mitton and her husband Steve of Andover; his son, Peter Hesketh and his wife Jackie of North Andover; his daughter Julie Capetola and her husband Joe of Garden City, N.Y.; and six grandchildren, including Nickolas Mitton of Andover.
