Marion Miller Walker

Marion "Mysie" Miller Walker, 95, died in Methuen on Jan. 7.

Ms. Miller Walker was a former resident of Andover.

She graduated from Lawrence High School and Waltham School of Nursing.

Her nursing career spanned more than 50 years, including long service at the Middleton Sanatorium.

Ms. Miller Walker was an avid reader and opera lover, and until the time of her death she followed current events with great relish, her family said.

Her dry wit, brilliant intellect and friendship are missed by all who knew her, they said.

Family members include her sisters, Betty Kistner of Stuart, Fla., and Anne Carr of Rathdrum, Ill.; and a number of nieces and nephews of several generations.

She was predeceased by her sister, Mary and her brother, John.
