Rosette Laure Ghazal


Rosette Laure Ghazal, 72, of Andover, died Friday, March 2, at Winchester Hospital, Winchester.

Mrs. Ghazal was born and raised in Lebanon and was educated in Lebanon and the United States. She had lived in Andover for more than 20 years.

Mrs. Ghazal had worked as a language teacher and career counselor for many years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Melkite Church, Lawrence and was active with the Andover Senior Center.

She was an accomplished artist.

Family members include her son, George and his wife Diane Stephan of Lakeville, and her daughter, Gabriella and her husband Rick Frazier of Marin, Calif. She leaves a brother, Ramez Ghazal of Lawrence; three sisters, Rosie Khairalla of Lebanon, Norma and her husband Mark Hamawi of Sydney, Australia, and Amal and her husband Gary Hamilton of Lawrence; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Kathia Stephan and Paula Stephan.

Arrangements were by the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
