Catherine M. Mirabello
Catherine M. (McKenna) Mirabello, 93, of Andover, formerly of Everett, died on Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover. Mrs. Mirabello was born in Everett to Thomas and Margaret (Griffin) McKenna. She was educated in Everett Schools and attended Boston University. Mrs. Mirabello was employed as a secretary at Everett High School before retiring. She was a volunteer at Whidden Hospital and also involved in many projects. Mrs. Mirabello was a very active member of Saint Anthony's Church in Everett and also serving as a Extraordinary Minister of the Church. Mrs. Mirabello was the wife of the late Dr. Frank Mirabello. Family members include her three daughters, Nancy and her husband Dr. Frank McMillan of North Andover, Judy Bernat of Farmington, Conn., Susan and her husband Harry Kraiza also of Farmington, Conn.; one son, Frank Mirabello and his wife Joyce of West Palm Beach, Fla; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours are today, Thursday, March 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral Mass is Friday, March 2, at 10 a.m. at Saint Anthony's Church, 38 Oak St., Everett, MA 02149. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472 or to Saint Anthony's Parish, 38 Oak St., Everett, MA 02149.
