Lucille R. Hopley

Lucille R. Hopley of Scottsdale, AZ died Feb. 13.

Mrs. Hopley was born in Pittsfield, the daughter of Frank and Delia Reddington.

The wife of Ronald Hopley, the couple lived in Andover for most of their life together and moved to Arizona following retirement.

A graduate of Our Lady of the Elms in Chicopee, Mrs. Hopley taught school in Pittsfield and Andover for many years. She was said to have loved every student she ever had and kept track of her students by reading the newspaper for the past 13 years following her retirement in 1993.

Family members include her daughters, Laura Nickerson of Fountain Hills, CA; and Susan Fletcher of Santa Fe, NM; granddaughter Cody Rose Nickerson of Fountain Hills, CA; brothers Charles Reddington of San Diego, CA; and John Reddington of Pittsfield.
