Claire Gauthier
Claire (Brett) Gauthier, 67, of Andover, died Friday, Feb. 16, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center. She was born in Providence, R.I., Dec. 21, 1939. She was a nurse in the Rhode Island Medical Center for 18 years, and most recently was a nurse for the Andover Public Schools for 14 years. Mrs. Gauthier was a communicant of St. Augustine Church. Family members include her husband, Raymond Gauthier of Andover; five children, Raymond A. Gauthier Jr. of Delray, Fla., Michael P. Gauthier and his wife Sandra of Warwick, R.I., Sharon A. Gauthier of Andover, Una L. Gauthier of Walpole, and Lynn Ferguson and her husband Gerald of Salem, N.H.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother, John Brett of North Kingstown, R.I.; two sisters, Patricia Mancini of North Kingstown, R.I., and Mary Lou Laroche of Pawtucket, R.I.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Sean Gauthier; and her brother, George Brett. Calling hours were scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, North Main Street. A funeral Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 22, at St. Augustine Church. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Warwick.
