Louis J. Zervas
Louis J. Zervas, 80, of Andover, died Monday, Feb. 12 at his daughter's home in Essex Junction, Vt. He was the widower of Georgia P. (Petrakos) Zervas. He was born in Lawrence, Dec. 12, 1926. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during World War II. Mr. Zervas was an advertising director for DeMoulas Supermarkets, retiring in 1987. Mr. Zervas was an avid sailor and also loved to travel in his RV with his dog, Charlie. Members of his family include a daughter, Karen Nee and her husband Jack of Essex Junction; one sister, Dee Laprade of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are tomorrow, Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main St., Andover. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main St., Andover, prior to committal at St. Mary's Cemetery in Tewksbury. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA 01843.
