Claire Crowley


Claire (Fournier) Crowley, 97, of Andover, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, at the Sutton Hill Center in North Andover.

A resident of Malden for more than 60 years, she most recently lived in Andover.

Throughout her life, Mrs. Crowley had a strong interest and talent for oil painting and shared this gift with her family and friends.

Family members include her two daughters, Joanne Howard and her husband David of North Andover and Frances Hennessey and her husband David of Manchester, Mass; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, M. Jeannette Patterson of Billerica; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Crowley, and siblings Alcide, Gaston, and Emile Fournier.

Arrangements were by Leo M. Norton Funeral Home in Malden.
