Loretta B. Nollet


Loretta B. Nollet, 90, of Lawrence, died on Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Oxford, Haverhill.

Ms. Nollet was born in Lawrence and raised and educated in Andover. She had lived in Lawrence for many years.

She had worked as a mender in the Shawsheen Mills in Andover, and had also worked as at the former Western Electric Co., North Andover. For more than 52 years, Ms. Nollet had worked as a hostess at the Red Tavern Restaurant, Methuen.

She also served as a volunteer at Caritas Holy Family Hospital, Methuen.

Family members include her three sisters, Marcelle Y. Gauvin of Lawrence, Theresa McNally of Atkinson, N.H. and Lucille Sweatman of Littleton, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 31 at the Arthur J. Scott Funeral Home, 298 South Broadway, Lawrence.

Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
