Patricia M. Getz

Patricia M. Getz, 57, of Andover, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Kaplan Family Hospice House.

Born in East Orange, N.J., Oct. 29, 1949 and raised in Irvington, N.J., she was a graduate of Douglas College in New Brunswick, N.J., and the University of Massachusetts Boston.

She was a DSS social worker in New Jersey and Vermont, and a quality assurance software engineer with Nixdorf Corp. in Burlington, Mass., and Comverse Technology in Wakefield.

Family members include her husband, Patrick Kasianchuck of Andover; son, Michael Kasianchuck of Andover; parents, Edward and Helen (Mucha) Getz of Irvington, N.J.; two brothers, Edward Getz of Mendota Heights, Minn., and Stephen Getz of Hockessin, Del.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Christine Getz.

Calling hours are today, Thursday, Feb. 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home in Andover.

Funeral services are Friday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel at West Parish Garden Cemetery in Andover.

Cremation will take place at Linwood Crematory.
