Kathleen Kelliher

Kathleen (McAuliffe) Kelliher, 91, of Andover and formerly of Everett, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Academy Manor in Andover.

She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the John and Margaret (Welsh) McAuliffe.

Mrs. Kelliher was raised and educated in Saugus, graduating from Saugus High School in 1934. After high school, she attended and graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in 1937.

She worked and raised her family, loved gardening and was a member of St. Augustine Church in Andover.

Family members include her children, Kevin and his wife Fran of Reading, John and his wife Joyce of Lynn, Colin and his wife Adrienne of Marblehead, Richard and his wife Yvette of West Roxbury, Mary Veno and her husband Leonard of Andover; a brother, John McAuliffe of San Antonio; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kelliher was predeceased by her husband, Elwin T. Kelliher.
