Frances P. Arcari


Frances P. (Cutrona) Arcari, 87, of Andover died Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers.

Mrs. Arcari was born in Lawrence to Salvatore and Providenza (Montalto) Cutrona.

She was educated in Lawrence schools and attended St. Patrick's Church.

Mrs. Arcari was a member of the Red Hat Association of Andover for many years and was involved in many of its activities.

She was a cake decorator at Susie Sweets Chocolate Store on South Union Street, and worked at the Yum Yum Shops throughout the Merrimack Valley until her retirement in 1981.

Mrs. Arcari won many awards for her cake decorations.

Family members include her daughters Patricia Cottone of Middleton and Ann Marie Cole of Worcester; sons Gerard Arcari of Boxford and Michael Arcari of Florida; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard Arcari.

Funeral arrangements were by Cataudella Funeral Home in Methuen.
