Rae Elizabeth Hoenig

Rae Elizabeth Hoenig, infant daughter of Scott W. and Jennifer K. ( Knaut) Hoenig, died Jan. 9, just nine days after her birth, surrounded by her loving family.

Rae Elizabeth was born Dec. 31, the last birth in Massachusetts this year, while her twin brother Garin Hoenig was born Jan. 1, 2007, as the first birth of the new year.

Family members include her parents Scott and Jennifer and her brother Garin; maternal grandmother Valerie J. Knaut of Winslow, Maine; and paternal grandparents Lynn K. and Donald E. Hoenig of Belfast, Maine.

She is predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Frank T. Knaut.
