Mary Rose Borzumato


Mary Rose (Battisti) Borzumato, 96, of Andover, died on Saturday, Jan. 13, at Prescott House in North Andover.

She was born in Italy, and was a former member of St. Michael Church in Hudson, Mass.

Mrs. Borzumato was the widow of Frank A. Borzumato.

Family members include two daughters, Augusta M. Dadiego and her husband Joseph of Andover, Barbara M. Meyer and her husband Ronald of New York; one son, Lawrence Borzumato and his wife Judy of New York; one daughter-in-law, Ellen Borzumato of Virginia; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Philip Battisti of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Paul L. Borzumato; her brother, Mario Battisti; and one grandchild.

Calling hours were scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass will be said today, Thursday, Jan. 18, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Church.

Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Hudson, Mass.
