Viola M. Rindone

Viola M. (Scalera) Rindone, 78, died Sunday, Dec. 31, at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Born in Lawrence to the late Gennaro and Enrichetta (Diodati) Scalera, Mrs. Rindone was a graduate of Lawrence High School.

She enjoyed the outdoors and cooking and, was known for her manicured lawn and yard.

Mrs. Rindone was a member of St. Augustine Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank P. Rindone.

Family members include her three sons Frank Jr. of Bloomfield, Conn.; Paul M. and his wife Margaret of Chester, N.H.; David and his wife Lori of Bethpage, N.Y.; a sister Carmen "Min" Foderaro of Rancho Mirage, Calif.; three grandsons; three granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Sunday, Jan. 7 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Dewhirst & Conte Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 8, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial in Spring Grove Cemetery will follow.
