School Committee on retreat
With the new school year approaching, School Committee members recently held a two-night "retreat."
Phillips Academy teachers publish online writing textbook
Three years ago, 10th-grade English teachers at Phillips Academy began collecting essays from their students who were studying expository writing, and posting them on the school's Web site. The online anthology grew, and students soon began to take pride in seeing their work published in this new medium.
Northern Essex classes start Sept. 6
Now is the time to register for the fall semester, which begins Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Northern Essex Community College.
