Schools to explain need for occupational therapy change
Although Administrator Cheri Webb is now starting to meet with concerned parents of special-needs students, parents still appear to be taking a wait-and-see attitude toward Andover's decision to change the way it delivers its occupational therapy services.
Class of 2000 celebrates at PA's 222th commencement
Eager to tackle the challenges before them, 323 Phillips Academy seniors, 164 boys and 159 girls, graduated Sunday in a jubilant commencement ceremony, the school's 222nd.
DCS summer program registration is underway
The Department of Community Services and Andover Youth Services Summer program registration began yesterday, Wednesday, June 7, and continues at the DCS office today, June 8, until programs fill or classes start. Program booklets were in the mail last week to Andover residents and have detailed class descriptions, class meeting times and locations. The booklet can also be viewed on the Internet by looking at Andover's home page, . The booklet features a letter by Town Manager Buzz Stapczynski, and a number of leisure opportunities and programs for adults and children, including Andover Youth Services and the Senior Center.
