Merrimack College students learn from Friendly help
Timothy T. Smith Jr. of Andover is a junior at Merrimack College, studying psychology thanks to the Friends of Merrimack College, a fundraising group. A soccer player, Smith was recruited by other schools, but decided on Merrimack partly because it was close to his home and partly because of the generous scholarship offered by the Friends.
Destination Imagination: South Elementary off to Global Finals
South Elementary School's 5th-grade Mixing Apples and Oranges team will represent Massachusetts at the Destination Imagination Global Finals, to be held at Iowa State University in Ames, on May 24-28.
