Article 32: Passive rec land money OK'd
Town Meeting voters on Tuesday approved more than $1.5 million that Andover can use to buy conservation land, but voted down a $1.1 million project to turn the Essex Sand and Gravel pit at Recreation Park into playing fields.
Articles 23-25: Betterments untouched
Three sewer articles were withdrawn from Town Meeting Tuesday night, avoiding a clash that could have pitted neighbor against neighbor.
Article 29: Plan to buy town yard-area land on ice
Town Meeting voters Tuesday rejected the town's request for $1.1 million to buy property adjacent to the town yard behind the public safety center.
Article 42: Gould Road stays off sewer
At the request of Gould Road residents, voters approved Article 42, which removed the street from the South Main Street sewer project.
Articles 19-22: Senior articles approved
Voters approved Articles 19 to 22 in support of services for senior citizens.
