Help wanted - Election draws few candidates
The Andover Housing Authority almost gave new meaning to the term uncontested race.
Freeze fractures
Phones at plumbers' headquarters and the Fire Department rang regularly with calls of frozen pipes until early this week, when the bitter cold subsided in time to dump a nor'easter on Andover and the east coast.
And now: Limited free speech?
As part of its plan for improving Town Meeting, the League of Women Voters is suggesting limiting discussion at the annual event.
