Kids driving kids
The state's Junior Operator Law, which forbids new, young drivers from driving other teens during the first six months after they get their license didn't exist when Carol Viola's now 19-year-old daughter got her license. But Viola wishes it had.
Working the all-day shift
One way to look at the new Andover firefighters' schedule is that they're working six days out of every eight. After all, an eight-hour shift is considered a day of work.

U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy will launch Andover's Veterans Day week activites as the keynote speaker for the annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Monday, Nov. 8, at the Wyndham Andover (formerly Marriott Hotel) at 7:30 a.m.
